The GXL is a brand new shoe from WD... It is the lightest weight full size shoe available! It is under two pounds!
It weighs in at about 1 pound 14 ounces... As you can see, the GXL design is based on that of one of our most popular horseshoes... the Glory Horseshoe. It is basically a thin version of the Glory shoe. We call this one an ultralight shoe compared to the others, including the PONY!
There has been a demand for an extra light weight shoe like this for quite some time and after extensive development, we're finally able to offer this shoe. The initial idea of this shoe was to have something for young kids to learn the game. But since we've begun sales of the shoe, we seem to be selling more to adults than kids!
It's very popular amongst elder pitchers (both men and women), especially those who are having trouble throwing the full distance of 40 feet.
